Dear members of the Los Angeles Jama’at,

We will be holding a Jama’at General Meeting on Sunday, September 1st at Baitul Hameed Mosque starting at 11:00 AM.  For members residing great distances, a hybrid option will be available.  Zoom info is below. 

 

This General Meeting will focus on the current Graveyard situation for Los Angeles, and a presentation will be given outlining the 3-4 various options we have for the future.  Members’ participation and input will be of paramount importance in deciding which route we proceed with, so please prioritize attending this meeting in person. 

 

Similarly, we will hold a special Farewell Program for respected Amir Ud Din sahib, who will be moving to Virginia to reside with his daughter.  As many of you know, Amir Ud Din sahib was one of the early pioneer members of the Los Angeles Jama’at, and has been a resident of Southern Californiafor over 60+ years.  Members will have an opportunity to share their fond memories of Amir Ud Din sahib, and to thank him for the countless years of service he has given to the Los Angeles Jama’at.
